About This Gift For You

Welcome! I'm Rose Jantz, owner of this little shop. This Gift For You started as a way for me to sell afghans and doilies online. I put on a few leather items just because they were cute and useful. Over time I learned that the crocheted stuff didn't sell so well and the leather things did! Oh, well! They say you need to roll with the punches and listen to what the customer is trying to tell you, so I dropped the crocheted afghans and doilies and concentrated instead on the leather items. My husband, Arlen, has been making leather plier holsters since early 1999 when he started making them after hip replacement surgery. He also opened a custom made boot shop. Now the boot shop is his main occupation, with a few other odds and ends of leather items for good measure. I try to keep up with all the online part of the business. Thanks for stopping by!
