About Way Back in the Hills

My shop is taking a break while we prepare for a wedding... Hello, and welcome! I grew up in California and started teaching when I was 19. Taught in Texas for a year, and then here in Tennessee for 3 before marrying here. It's a lovely place to live! Lots of rain here, so it's very green all summer long. I love doing crafty things, you name it, I'm interested, (except embroidery and quilting) and unfortunately working outside in flowerbeds and yard is not as therapeutic for me as it is for others, and it seemed good for my mental health to have an outlet that was fulfilling for me. So... I started by doing my own baby books, and birth announcements - things have changed a lot since those first ones - and things have slowly expanded from there. So now, I do Baby Memory Books, First Year Calendars, Birth Announcements, School Memory Books, and Wedding Books.
